UPDATED Info for parents of Seniors only!
Graduation Details
This year’s graduation will be held on June 14. Graduation will start promptly at 10:45am. Please note the change in start time; we have responded to student concerns and are allowing for slightly more time for families to gather in the morning. Information on contingency plans for inclement weather will be distributed closer to the date of graduation, if necessary. Please note that our goal in moving graduation to the morning was to create a situation where we could potentially postpone the ceremony to a later time if needed to ensure all efforts are made to have an outdoor ceremony, allowing for students to have all of their friends and family see them graduate.
Seniors must report to the high school auditorium by 9:45am on the day of graduation. We ask that students carpool or be dropped off to alleviate parking lot congestion after graduation.
For an outside graduation, tickets will be used for seating on the bleachers, including those who require handicap seating. Each graduate will receive 6 tickets. The new bleachers are now ADA compliant and will accommodate guests who need wheelchair access. The first row will be for our guests who are in wheelchairs and those who are unable to climb stairs. In order to accommodate as many people as we can in the handicapped accessible seating, we are asking families to limit the seating in this area to the member who requires it and one additional family member. Please be considerate of those who truly require this accommodation. Any family member or friend who wishes to come to graduation but does not have a ticket may sit or stand along the fence or in the grass. There is no limit to these viewing areas and all are welcome.
For an inside graduation, which will be held in the high school gymnasium and live streamed in the auditorium, only ticketed guests will be allowed. Seating in the gymnasium is limited to only those tickets stamped with the school seal (two per graduate). Seating is on a first-come, first served basis. Once the gymnasium has reached its capacity, all remaining ticketed guests will be seated in the auditorium. In either scenario, the school district is not able to accommodate requests for extra tickets. If you require extra tickets, please reach out to other graduating seniors and their families for assistance.
On the morning of the ceremony, spectators for graduation will not be permitted to park on campus until 9:45 am. Parking will be available in the back lots by the stadium. There will be staff in the back to assist.
Also new this year, since the ceremony is being held during school hours, the high school underclassmen will be in attendance to support the senior class. Our middle school students will be watching a live feed of the graduation in the school auditorium. Siblings of graduates will be excused from school that day to attend the ceremony with their families. Please contact the main office if you choose to take advantage of this with your family.
