Important Information from Miss Cappuccino and Mr. Zlupko

November 7, 2022

November brings us the turning back of clocks, changes in the foilage, and lots of learning for our students. This month our students and staff will participate in Snipes Farm Nutrition lessons and will be reflecting on what they are grateful for in class.

Mr. Z and I are extremely grateful for all our students, staff and the work they do each and every day. We are also grateful for our PTO and all our parents/guardians who continue to support and partner with us to provide the best learning and school experience we can for all our students. It truly takes a villiage to support a child, and we are lucky to have each of you in our village!

In the spirit of gratitude, we would love to hear from our valued families about who and what you are grateful for at Grandview Elementary and Morrisville Intermediate School. Please take a brief moment to express your gratitude to our amazing staff by Friday, November 18, 2022.

Your words of appreciation make a great impact on our school climate and culture. We will compile all responses and share them with the staff on Novemeber 23rd before they leave for the break.

We wish you all a safe, healthy and Happy Thanksgiving!

A Message from Farmer Mel

Snipes Farm will return this month with another food adventure with K-5! Many of the foods that we eat are thanks to thousands of years of processing ahead of winter: drying grains for flour, canning, freezing and fermenting all help us to enjoy the harvest and sustain us until the next one. We will be learning about how these work and sampling delicious examples.
