a note from Mrs. McAskill...
Career techs have opened up applications for the 2023-2024 school year.
If you have a current 10th-11th grader that would like to apply for a program please have them visit the site below. Select the career tech district they live in and then look over the programs. Most have online applications or they will need to pick one up for the career tech . If they are in doubt which district they live by have them call the career tech and they will confirm their home address.
https://oklahoma.gov/careertech/technology-centers.html
12th graders can also apply for full time programs post high school. They will just need to apply for adult programs .
If you have 9th graders , several career techs have added academies in Bio-Medical, Pre-Engineering and Computer Science. Students can apply and attend in 10-12th grade . These are very strong academic programs, and students will earn high school math and science credit for high school. Also another great thing about career tech enrollment is that students can count this as part of the work based learning on their ICAP account 😊
