The Court Decides!
Ferguson wins--Plessy proves a point.
The United States Supreme Court states that forced separation of whites and colored people does not mean inferiority. Making a law to mix the races together won't change the attitudes of society.
Plessy removed from train
Plessy was deboarded from Louisiana train for refusing to move to the colored section of the train.
Segregation remains; equal rights declined.
Plessy wanted to take Ferguson to court to get equal rights. He said colored people should be equal with white people, but it didn't happen.
The Argument
Plessy argued that laws say that we are "Separate, but Equal", Are we really equal?
