Cowles Montessori Crier
Week of February 20th
– Lao Tzu
“If there is to be peace in the world, there must be peace in the nations.
If there is to be peace in the nations, there must be peace in the cities.
If there is to be peace in the cities, there must be peace between neighbors.
If there is to be peace between neighbors, there must be peace in the home.
If there is to be peace in the home, there must be peace in the heart.”
Cowles Middle School News
We are two-thirds of the way through the school year and this brings many changes to our day. Our STEM and technology classes rotate during the first week of March. The eighth grade students will be moving from Computer Applications and Keyboarding to Medical Detectives. Half of the seventh grade students are rotating from Design and Modeling to Automation and Robotics while the other half will rotate from Automation and Robotics to Computer Applications and Keyboarding.
During this last trimester our students will also be learning to use a sewing machine, learning cooking skills, and the eighth grade students will be busy with career research and exploration to include a tour of the programs available at Central Campus.
