iPad Configuration Process

iPads purchased with Bond 2011 funds and ordered as part of the Library Transformation Plans will be initialized by field techs in order to access the district wifi.

After the initialization of the iPads, the campus ITS will assist the librarian in the set up of restrictions and assignment of a unique Apple ID. The Apple ID will allow Library Services to push out a suite of apps (more information in next week's Friday Focus) to each iPad.

Contact the campus ITS about the restrictions and Apple IDs after Friday, Dec. 12. They will receive information today at the Instructional Technology meeting.

Thanks to Jennifer Heine who created directions for iPad configuration and to Christie Robinson and Cindy Gregory for their support and collaboration in this process!

Grant Opportunity

The Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) is providing two grants due Jan. 1, 2015 – the Summer Reading Resources Grants and the Teen Summer Intern Program Grants.
