CISD Strategic Design Information
As you might have heard, Coppell Independent School District has kicked off a new district Strategic Design effort. This important work will help us to create Coppell ISD’s next set of priorities from which all district efforts will be aligned over the coming years.
Your input is a very critical component to the success of this effort. As such, we launched a Strategic Design Questionnaire that we hope every district stakeholder will complete. While there are other opportunities to get involved in the Strategic Design effort, this questionnaire is one way for every voice to be heard. It was designed to gather your individual opinions and perspectives specific to the current state of, and future desires for, Coppell ISD. We encourage all of our current and former students, parents, community members and of course, Coppell ISD employees, to complete this questionnaire, so we may ensure we are moving forward with all stakeholder input.
Please note the questionnaire takes only 12-15 minutes of your time and has been translated in English, Telugu and Spanish. All versions of the questionnaire, as well as all other details and phases of our Strategic Design effort, can be found at https://www.coppellisd.com/strategicdesign.
On behalf of Coppell ISD, let me personally thank you for your time, your insight and your contributions to this important effort.

Job Shadowing and Internship Hosting- Help Wanted!
Dear New Tech Parents,
We are looking for help in providing job shadowing experiences for our junior and senior learners. As part of our graduation requirements learners participate in career exploration by shadowing professionals in an occupation of their choice. Learners and their families are primarily responsible for finding these opportunities but several have requested help in this process.
If you, or someone you know, would be willing to host a learner for 10 to 15 hours at your place of business, please let me know! We have students interested in a variety of careers, so any occupation could be a possibility for a valuable experience for a learner. In particular, we have a large number of learners who want to shadow in the areas of programming or game design, engineering, medicine, law, graphic design, business/finance and psychology. Thank you for your support as we work to ensure our graduates are college and career ready.
