Shannon Kempf
Shannon Kempf has been the owner and director of Creative Inspiration Academy, in Hazlet NJ, for six years. CIA is both a school of baton twirling and dancing. Shannon was a team member of the Hazlet Thunderettes for over ten years progressing into an instructor’s position. She also competed as a soloist with many different coaches, traveling to competitions across the country. While twirling, Shannon also found a love for dance and trained with the Academy of Dance Arts for ten years where she studied the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus and performed exams in which she was graded with Distinction. During the summers she would continue her studies and travel to intensives at various ballet schools including The Rock School of Dance in Philadelphia, Orlando Ballet School, Miami City Ballet, and Studio Maestro in New York City. Her studies also included a summer dancing with the Het National Ballet in Amsterdam. With all the experience and training she has received, Shannon's greatest accomplishment is to teach and share her knowledge of dancing and twirling with younger athletes.
