History
Gary LeVox born July 10,1970
Joe Don Rooney was born September 13, 1975
It all started when Jay and Gary, from the Columbus, Ohio in 1999, area, and Joe Don, from Picher, Oklahoma, teamed up in a club in Nashville’s Printers Alley. There first album came out in June 6, 2000. They won 115 awards and they won the star on the walk of fame in 2012. After landing a record deal with Lyric Street Records, Rascal Flatts recorded a mix of country and pop. The album arrived in 2000, and "Prayin' for Daylight" became the group's first smashing single. Rascal Flatts ultimately sent four singles to the Top Ten before the band's second album," Melt", appeared in October 2002 and that album was a great album. Melt sold a million copies in eight weeks and yielded the band's first number one country hit "These Days." Rascal Flatts had established themselves with a particularly strong following among younger listeners
