Spring Parent Teacher Conferences
HRMS Spring Parent Teacher Conferences will be held between March 10 through March 18. Conferences will be the same format as our fall conferences. We are using the Calendly program to schedule conferences this year. We are also calling some of our families to help with this process.
Conferences will be scheduled for 15 minutes. Teachers will offer 8 hours (for full time teachers) of conferences between 3/10 and 10/18 in a mixture of afternoon and evening sessions to accommodate family schedules. All of our teachers have scheduled, daily family office hours between 11:30-12:00 if you are unable to attend conferences this fall. I will send out another email on Monday on how to schedule conferences for your child.
Sports Update from HRCSD Athletic Director Trent Kroll
Many already know that this coming week, following the OHA & governor's guidelines for k-12 sports, HRVHS will begin competitions in football, girls volleyball, boys/girls soccer and boys/girls cross country. The week after that middle schools will begin competitions in 7/8 football, 7/8 girls volleyball & 6/7/8 cross country. All protocols from the OHA, HRCHD, OSAA & the HRCSD are in place. The HRVHS competition schedules can be found at: https://www.osaa.org/schools/81. Middle School schedules will be available soon.
PLEASE KNOW... AT THIS TIME, THERE IS NOT A CAPACITY FOR SPECTATORS AT HOME OR AWAY EVENTS (AT LEAST UNTIL MARCH 19).
We plan to have spectator options once the Hood River County goes into the GREEN Level.
We plan to have live streaming options and the KIHR Radio will broadcast many games.
Stay tuned for more info.
Thanks,
Trent Kroll
