A Note From The Principal
Welcome Back Parents and Scholars,
Vision is Everything! Lawrence J. Peter once said, “Highly successful organizations and individuals all have an extremely clear vision of where they are going.” Moving forward we are adding our campus academic goals to our newsletter. We are going to work together to meet our goals. As a campus we are tracking these goals. In addition to this each scholar will be tracked individually. Scholars should receive a student tracker. Teachers will go over the trackers in class. This will help them track their own success. Along with these goals we have (2) campus initiatives which is our campus wide reading initiative (every scholar is to read at least 20 minutes a day) and building a successful STEM program. Each of these objectives are focused on Scholar First.
Reminder: On Tuesday, October 27th. we will start our “Tie Tuesday “. I look forward to seeing all of the wonderful ties. Don’t forget to click on the link below and fill out the STEM Survey. This information was emailed to you as well. I have enjoyed the feedback.... please keep it coming.
Just a follow up: Parents, hopefully you had a chance to review our Infinite Campus website. As I mentioned before it is a very resourceful tool. You will have the ability to see your scholar’s grades, any missing assignments and attendance to name a few. This an excellent communication tool for the teachers to keep you informed.
.
Scholars First,
Dr. Sue Starr
