Team Risi: Joshua's Adoption Day!

National Adoption Day November 21

Join us on Saturday November 21, 2015 as we officially welcome our son, Joshua Anthony Risi, to our family!
For two years, we worked and prayed for the chance to become parents for a child in need of a loving home. Now the wait is over - God has blessed us with a beautiful, smart and somewhat incorrigible boy with big brown eyes. From the moment we met him he stole our hearts. Now let's celebrate!

Joshua's Adoption Hearing

Saturday, Nov. 21st, 9:30am

3131 West Durango Street

Phoenix, AZ

UPDATED INFORMATION:
IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON ATTENDING THE COURT HEARING READ THIS

The court hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. Plan on arriving at least 40 minutes early to allow for parking and security.
Parking is directed from in front of the Durango Juvenile Court Center at 3131 West Durango Street. After parking, proceed to the front of the courthouse where check-in tables are situated. Our hearing is under LINDER (Jasper Linder, Joshua's current legal name). Tell them this and they will direct you to the courtroom. Please do not bring anything that won't pass a metal detector. The hearing will only last 15 minutes, but we plan on staying around afterward for the festivities so look for us if you get there after 9:45!

Adoptive families will be celebrating at the courthouse and we will be there for the morning if you want to stop by. According to the NAD website: Maricopa County has held a National Adoption Day event since the beginning - we have broken all records the past few years with the number of adoptions we complete on this day - We have games and activities for the children, live entertainment, food and beverages and a professional photographer to capture each adoptive family after their adoption hearing.

Celebrate Family

No need to RSVP, but we will post the courtroom as soon as we know. Come for any part of the morning; we will be there to enjoy the day with Joshua!
