Week of September 24-28

Kindness Challenge

This is our last week of the 15 days of Kindness Challenge for Grange Hall Elementary! Be sure to record your acts of kindness in your journals daily!

The entire student body has been challenged to carry-out acts of kindness in the halls, classrooms, at home and throughout the community. Each student will receive a daily kindness challenge as well as some unique ways to document their acts. So don’t be shocked if you see a little more Kindness around the house.

Challenge #2 – Global Impact

Our entire school has been challenged to collect gently used sneakers that will be sent to needy children and families around the globe. So go through your closet to see if you have any sneakers you don’t wear anymore. (also ask your friends, family and neighbors!) Important – we are only collecting sneakers. Please don’t bring boots, flip-flops, slippers, etc.

Denim Drive 2018

Bring your gently used denim (any style, any size/pants/skirts/shirts/shorts/jackets) to GHES and place in the blue bin outside the school by the office.

The Chesterfield County school that collects the most pieces/items will win $1,000 for their school's PTA. All items will then go to Goodwill.

Together, we can put Grange Hall in first place!

Student Transportation Changes

All changes to your child's afternoon transportation must be in the form of a written note sent in to the teacher. In the event of an emergency or if you forget to send a note, you must call the office prior to 2:30 pm to make a change.

Any students being picked up by a parent/guardian after 2:30 pm will be sent to parent pick-up in the cafeteria.
