Jaguars Prowl the World - Families Needed

Jaguars Prowl the World

Thursday, April 18

If you speak a different language, celebrate traditions based on your country of origin, or have lived in an area of the world that has provided you with experiences that you would be interested in sharing, please consider hosting a table at our event.

You could...

  • Share games or traditional toys

  • Share a language lesson - or show students how to write their name in a different language

  • Share a craft project that is representative of your background

  • Share a holiday story or traditions

  • Display musical instruments

  • Display traditional fabric or clothing

  • Or an idea all your own

We need your help to make Jaguars Prowl the World a success. Please consider volunteering to host a table to share your experiences with the whole Jefferson community.

Last year we had tables showcasing life in Thailand, Taiwan, Switzerland, Palestine, New Zealand, Jordan, India, The Gambia, Chile, Bhutan, Australia, and Austria. Even if you hosted a table last year, we would love to have you do it again.

Click the button below to sign up for a table. Join us for this fun Jaguar celebration!

New Jefferson Website

We are excited to announce the launch of our new Jefferson Elementary School website! The Corvallis School District has been working to design consistent websites across the district to provide sites that are easy to search and navigate. Ours is the 7th CSD website to be designed and launched in the last three years.

What are the changes?

The new site design reflects the style and navigation of the other new websites. Our website will be a hub for school information. The design focus is to streamline menus, offer simple navigation, and provide access to the information you need, any time of day.

Three things to know:

  • Calendar – perhaps the most important feature on our website is the calendar. The district’s school year calendar and our school events calendar are prominently featured on the home page.
  • Search– a powerful yet simple search feature, facilitating faster location of multiple sources and locations of information on the site about a specific subject or keyword.
  • School News – updates and information will be published regularly on the home page so you can stay informed and engaged in our school community!

Student Book Club Begins April 17

READ book club will meet on Wednesdays during lunch recess for 3rd-5th graders.

Students will be able to read books and have discussions about what they are reading.

Book club will begin on April 17th in Room 3 with Mrs. Green and Mrs. Deffenbacher!

The Book Fair is Coming!

Mark Your Calendars for our Spring BOGO Bookfair - April 22- 26th 2019.

We need your help to make the Book Fair happen. Sign up to help set up, take down or assist with the fair during the week.

Thanks with your help we can make this the best one yet. http://signup.com/go/FZXCLyO
