CES Parent Update

Week of November 14

Dear Families,

As we approach Thanksgiving, I want to take a minute to share our gratitude for allowing us to grow and love your sweet children. We are truly blessed to be surrounded by students who not only want to learn, but are kind, show strong character, and have giving hearts. I also want to acknowledge how blessed we are to have the most talented and dedicated teachers guiding our students each day. Their hard work and passion ensures that every student learns at high levels.

As life gets busier and busier, I challenge you to take a moment to reflect on the everyday blessings we have in our lives. Please know Creekview is thankful for each of you, the fact we get to embrace your children as part of our family, and that we get to come to a beautiful school and do what we love each and every day. We wish you a safe and healthy holiday week ahead.

~Allyson Jordan, Principal

Watch DOGS Sign Up

Our Watch DOGS program provides positive male role models for the students demonstrated by their presence that education is important. The program also provides an extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security and safety.

Duties throughout the day include welcoming students into the building, checking all doors and locks, assisting in the front office, participating in classroom instruction, providing supervision in the cafeteria, playing with students during recess, and much more. Wear sneakers- we will keep you busy!

New this year, we will have two Watch DOGS on duty each day. One Watch DOG will remain on campus all day and help with the items mentioned above just as we typically have done. The second Watch DOG will be on campus for a couple hours in the morning and will be focused solely on ensuring safety and security during our arrival procedures.

CLICK HERE to sign up. Should spots fill up, please contact our counselor, Ms. Agundez who will add you to our wait list. She will contact you directly if there are cancellations.

Please remember, you must have a clear background check in order to participate. It is the responsibility of the Watch DOG to ensure TISD has cleared you to volunteer. The volunteer application can be found here.
