Principal's Message - 2021-2022 Kindergarten Registration is Now Open
Please know that our registration is now open for Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten for the 2021-2022 school year. At this point, we are hopeful that the coming school year will be the traditional full-time and in-person schedule. To register your child, you may print and complete the linked registration packet and return it into our school office. Of course, you may pick up a packet from the office as well.
California has specific age restrictions for both TK and Kindergarten enrollment. In order to qualify for our Transitional Kindergarten program, a child must turn 5 years old between September 2nd and December 2nd. In order to be placed in Kindergarten, students must turn 5 on or before September 1st.
In addition to the completed registration documents, the school will need to submit a copy of the child's updated shot record and birth certificate. Know that there are additional vaccinations needed for TK and K enrollment. Be sure to reach out to your medical provider to make sure your child has the necessary vaccinations. We will pre-enroll your child now knowing that these appointments will most likely happen over the summer.
The sooner you can get your child registered for next year the better. It is helpful to know how many students to expect for the upcoming school year in order to plan for staffing. If you have any questions, please reach out to our school secretary, Jennifer McKeand.
You're Invited to our Next PTC Meeting!
