Principal's Corner
Thank you for joining us for the first of three student-led conferences this week! The students had smiles from ear to ear as they read their original stories, discussed their weather log, shared their favorite book, and more! I invite you to come back throughout the year to celebrate their learning as they showcase their growth!

Foiled Again!
Fifth graders love a good challenge! Students in 5th grade completed the STEM design challenge where they constructed and tested a cargo ship made of only tin foil. Students learned about the different designs and came up with ideas of how to make their boat float and hold the most cargo in the class.

Second Graders Can Build Robots!
Ms. Bammel’s 2nd-grade class worked with support from Mrs. Floyd on a STEM activity using the LEGO WeDo 2.0 and Apple iPads. The students did an amazing job building Milo the Science Rover Robot by following the directions provided on the app. Students worked together in pairs to continue building their teamwork skills and classroom community relationships. #21stcenturylearning
