A note from your teacher...
We have a pretty exciting week because on Wednesday the entire school is participating in the Global Day of Play!! Look below for more information. :)
This Friday is a half day as well! Please remember we do not eat lunch, so if you would like to pack a snack for your child that is fine! Students will dismiss at 12:01.
As always if you have any questions, comments or concerns please don't hesitate to contact me!

This week in class....
I talked to them about choosing things that they want to bring in. We will work to share and treat all toys and games with respect, but sometimes things accidently break or get misplaced. I told them that they shouldn't bring something if they would be sad if it broke or got lost. They are responsible for the toys and games that they bring.

Math- We will begin working on telling time.
Reading- We are finishing our unit on fables, fairy tales, folktales, myths, and legends. Students have done lots of work with point of view, moral of the story, story elements, and comparing and contrasting.
Writing- We are working on writing fractured fairy tales and fables. The kids are getting very creative with their twists on classic tales. We hope to perform these on the stage in the library next Friday.
