GO COYOTES !!!!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!

Because of the short week next week, the Coyote Update will be returning on November 30.

MEET MR. GONZALES

Life in Peru changed Gonzales' perspective on life

Imagine being 8 years old and having to move from the simple life that is all you’ve ever known to a country 4,000 miles away . This is exactly what custodial night lead, Sam Gonzales experienced as a kid when his family left Utah for Peru.

MEET MRS. WEBSTER

Math Teacher Mrs. Webster is a jack-of-all-trades

As a high school student you would think that you are the busiest person in the world.. What students often fail to realize is that teachers have their schedules overflowing with responsibilities like lesson planning, grading, advising clubs, coaching and finding time for their own families. Math teacher Amanda Webster is a prime example of a teacher that does it all.

STANDOUT COYOTES

Makayla Englehart just completed her first season of Cross Country and made a huge impact for the Girl's team. From the summer conditioning to the State Championship race, Makayla has been fully committed to improving each day through practice and races. She never missed a practice from July to November. Her commitment landed her on the top of the Girls team as the number one runner. Two races into her season she broke the Sophomore record that was set last season. She became a pivotal part of the success that the Girl's team had this year. She is the true definition of a student athlete carrying a 3.7 GPA all through the season. Her biggest achievement was breaking the All Time Cross Country Record at the State Championship Race on Saturday November 10th with a time of 21 minutes and 31 seconds.

COUNSELORS CORNER

Counselors are in the classroom this week and we are excited to be talking to the Freshmen, Juniors and Seniors about the various ways to be successful in high school, and giving them some things to start thinking about for after high school. Thursday night is our second Parent University: Signs of Suicide. We look forward to the opportunity to help families learn more about this growing epidemic.
