Living our Mission
Living Our Mission
- Michelle was the recipient of a $500 EdCamp Impact Grant. She intends to use these funds to enhance her classroom library with cultural and diverse books. She has a passion for integrating and embedding cultural activities and mentor texts in her lesson plans and unit design.
- Our students have taken 3,698 AR Quizzes this semester with an overall percent correct of 87.3. I will be providing 1-5th grade teachers monthly print outs of your diagnostic reports so you can continue to monitor and assess student comprehension during independent reading at their instructional level.

- ILT Meeting at DGS 3-5pm. We will meet in the cafeteria
- Festiva Hat and Headband Day
- I will be out all day. Lydia is having oral surgery. Lisa Barra will be the principals' designee.
- Enrichment Eagles 2:45-3:45pm
- Staff Ornament Exchange. We will do this in 3L. Bring an ornament valued less than $5.00 to participate.
- PLCS: Preparations for Polar Express/Grinch Day
- Board of Education Meeting 6pm
- Polar Express/Grinch Day
- EK IEP 7:45am
- SE IEP 9am
- EM IEP 10 am
- Staff Meeting 2:50pm
- Evidence due for Non-Tenured Staff

- Winter Parties 12:50-1:45
- Dismissal 1:45pm. Staff may leave once busses are clear

IF you would like to participate, please feel free to text or email me a family picture of your family. These don't have to be professional pictures. It could be a candid picture, ect.
I will schedule posts to be featured through out winter break! I know the DGS families and community will love to see the pictures of our staff.

Evaluation Information
As a reminder, we are ready to schedule formal observations for those of you getting evaluated. That information is listed below. If you are a tenured staff member that is not getting evaluated, you should complete the PGP portion in iObservation and schedule a meeting with me to discuss your professional goals for the year. The timeline for those is also included below. As always, please let me know if you have questions!
