Rosa Parks Elementary Parent News
February 18 - February 22
Hello Rocket Families!
It was another great week at Rosa Parks Elementary! Our students explored the scientific method while completing Science Fair projects. We also had fun celebrating Valentine's Day during our Valentine's card exchange. Looking forward to another fantastic week!

RPE Science Fair Projects
Students had an opportunity to experience the scientific method firsthand while completing Science Fair projects. We saw so many creative and challenging topics! Students in grades 3-5 completed Science Fair projects individually or with a partner and students in the primary grades completed Science Fair projects as a class. All projects were displayed around the campus and students had the opportunity to view the work of their peers. We are so proud of our scientists!
Happy Valentine's Day!
Rockets Spreading Love
Our students celebrated Valentine's Day by uplifting one another through Valentine's cards and hallway displays. They brightened each other's day with kind words. We love our Rockets!
Parking Lot Safety
To ensure the safety and security of our students we are asking all parents who drop off and pick up their child/children in a vehicle to follow the parking lot procedures below:
- Do not exceed 15 miles per hour
- Avoid using the bus line
- Do not pass other vehicles
- Watch for pedestrians at all times
- Do not use cell phones
Thanks for your support and attention to this important matter. We love our students and families and want to ensure their safety and security!
