American Education Week is November 14th – 17th. Parents are invited on a designated day based on grade level and must pre-register in order to attend.

The following message is for parents/guardians whose child is interested in one of the following upcoming Winter Sports:
- Basketball (Girls and Boys teams)
- Cheer ***NEW SPORT***
- Allied Bocce (Primarily for students with special needs and/or an IEP/504)
Registration for these sports will be open until Tuesday, November 14th using the following link: https://app.formreleaf.com/organizations/middle-river-middle-school
Students Athletes must have a completed registration, updated physical, and a 2.0 GPA or higher with no more than 1 failing grade on their 1st quarter report card. Student athletes are also expected to turn in a signed Student Athlete Code of Conduct form, which is attached to this email, before November 15th. Student Athletes will be given this form at the upcoming Informational Meeting.
Below is a list of important upcoming dates:
- Thursday November 2nd will be Informational Meetings. Please make sure to turn in a signed permission slip to attend.
- Basketball Meeting in Rm 42 from 3:15pm-4:15pm
- Cheer Meeting in Rm 28 from 3:15pm-4:15pm
- Allied Bocce Meeting in Rm 17 from 3:15pm-4:15pm
- Wednesday November 15th through Friday November 17th will be Basketball Tryouts.
- Wednesday November 15th will be the first day of practices for Cheer and Allied Bocce
The next Athletics Fundraiser will be kicking off with our Winter Sports Teams. Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit all our athletics teams for new uniforms and equipment. Please help us out as information will be given out at the Informational Meetings.
