Carver Chronicles
A weekly newsletter that celebrates CMHS students and staff
The Carver Chronicles is a newsletter designed to share and celebrate all of the great learning activities, extra-curricular events and awesome accomplishments that happen every day at Carver Middle High School!
On Wednesday, May 6th, we celebrated and recognized our wonderful nurses on Nurse's Appreciation Day. Mrs. Showan, Mrs. Foley and Mrs. Leahy are superstars every day, and they have been integral in navigating the CMHS community through this pandemic. As a token of our appreciation, we ordered lunch and presented each of them with a beautiful hanging plant. Thank you for all that you do!!

Mr. Lyman and his 9th grade Environmental Science class joined Ms. Whalen in the woods behind CMHS this week to start setting up the new SPARCnet salamander research areas! Students helped to measure and stake out two of the future research plots. The Environmental/Agricultural Pathway students will begin conducting research here this fall!
Students in Mr. Lyman's Senior Environment Science class have been very busy outside. This week they helped set up study sites for our future SPARCnet collaboration. They also seeded buckets with mushroom spawn in order to grow Oyster Mushrooms.
