Dear Brantner Families,
As many are aware, we continue to face labor challenges throughout our 27J community. Our teacher and para workforce has grown, but our sub pool has not yet recovered to match this growth. We need more teacher and para substitutes. We need your help. Many parents and community members support us in the important work of substituting. As a 27J substitute, you are able to choose your location (hopefully at Brantner) and your work days. Please call Julie Martin 720-685-5055, or contact our 27J sub coordinator, Julie Trujillo, at 303-655-2900.
The Colorado Department of Education (CDE) has training and a recruitment stipend to get you started…Here is the link with the application and information: CDE LINK. Check us out at Workat27J.com. Please share with your friends and on social media. I appreciate your continued support of Brantner.

Your Vote Counts 2022!
Greetings Brantner Families!
To those who completed their ballots and mailed or dropped them at a 24-Hour Drop Box Location, thank you for actively participating in this year’s election!
For those that have not yet completed and returned your ballot, we are writing again to encourage you to vote in this fall’s mid-term election! Ballots are due November 8th!
You can find the 24-Hour Drop Box location nearest to you at this link - https://www.adamsvotes.com/ballot-drop-boxes/ or put your ballot in the mail if you complete it by October 31st.
Adams County Elections recommends that if you have yet to complete and mail or drop off your ballot with just a week to go until election day that you drop it at a 24-Hour Drop Box Location to make sure the ballot is received in time.
To track your ballot once it is submitted, visit http://www.govotecolorado.com/.
27J Schools has a mill levy override question (5B) on the ballot. We encourage you to read your ballot, do your research on the issues and candidates, and vote!
As you know, 27J Schools had a bond and a mill levy override question on the ballot last November. The bond was successful. The mill levy override was not.
Of the 75,213 registered voters in 27J Schools boundaries, only 26,242 or 34.89% voted in last November’s election. See the election summary here.

Your Vote Counts!
¡Tu voto cuenta 2022!

I am so proud of our Brantner staff in driving towards our mission and our core goals. The people that support this building are "ALL IN" and I see it every day! As we enter into voting season I want to remind you to check your voter registration and make sure your voice (No matter what you choose for you and your family.) is heard in this next election. I also want to be transparent about some of the moves the district will look at making (due to the financial reality) if the mill ballot issue (5B) doesn't pass....
