What is Bioenergy?

Bioenergy is renewable energy derived from biological sources. It is the energy that will power our cars, trucks, and home while reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Bioenergy is to be used for heat, electricity, or vehicle fuel.

What can Bioenergy do and be used for?

There a tons of things that are under the category Bioenergy. So far, wood is the largest biomass and bioenergy source. Also, when using this energy, is has the potential to greatly reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Finally, biomass and energy is derived from recently living things. This would/could include plants, animals, and byproducts.

What is biomass and biofuel?

Biomass is an organic material which stores sunlight in the form of chemical energy.
It is a fuel which may contain wood, waste, straw, manure, sugarcane, and many other byproducts.

What can biomass do?

Biomass is the biological material in biofuel. One advantage of biomass fuel is that it is a by-product. Biomass is also the material from recently living organism.

Biomass is also any organic material which stored sunlight in the form of chemical energy
