#mindfulAISD (2/6)

Mindfulness in the Austin Independent School District

Week of February 6th, 2017

Welcome to the #mindfulAISD newsletter for the week of February 6th. This will serve as a way to highlight the awesome mindfulness work being done across the district as well as offer resources. Have suggestions for material you'd like to see on here? Please email the SEL Mindfulness Specialist: james.butler@austinisd.org

Want to Showcase Your Mindfulness Work?

Send James Butler an email with a brief story and/or photo (if you have photo releases for your students). Or if you're on Twitter, use the hashtag #mindfulAISD and I'll post a link to your tweet on the newsletter.

GoNoodle Mindfulness Video List

Did you know that GoNoodle features a lot of great mindfulness videos? Yep. And now they are all compiled in one handy list below. The videos are sorted by Mindful Stretching and Mindful Breathing and by GoNoodle channel. I also included the length of each video so you can fit it in to your schedule. In addition to mindfulness, GoNoodle is great for Brain Breaks and WOW time in the event of poor weather. Shout out to Michele Rusnak, AISD's Health & PE Supervisor, for the idea of putting this list together for y'all.
