2. Ask about Literacy Night supplies.
3. Prepare and Present John Collins PD session at faculty meeting.
4. Attend grade-level meeting on Wednesday.
5. Attend NWEA training on Monday.
6. Lead the Literacy Committee meeting Wednesday afternoon.
7. Attend Instructional Leadership meeting on Friday.
8. Help with Red Ribbon Week activities like Stop, Drop, and Write on Wednesday and book character dress-up day.
9. Continue printer-friendly RIT Band charts based on the Learning Continuum goals.
10. Check in with the teacher I modeled the close reading lesson to see her progress.
Praise
- Teachers continue to try and wrap heads around John Collins.
- A Third grade teacher invited me in her classroom to model a writing lesson. I LOVED the conversation with the kids!
Problems
- As I continue to present the John Collins information, more questions come up that I cannot answer; there is some strong resistance from teachers who are struggling with change.
- I continue to struggle with the scheduling between three campuses. I DO prefer a week at a time, but at the same time it is an entire week away from a school. I do not like feeling as if I am a "Jack-of-all trades, but a master none".
