Foods in the UK now travel 50% further than 15 years ago. This is responsible for 33% of road transport increased in the last 15 years. Road transport is the only source of greenhouse gases (carbon dioxide) that is still growing. This is why carbon footprint is Increasing, and there is no way to reverse It, because it's a food transportation we can not avoid.
