SUMMER LEARNING: GET READY - Starts next week!
The theme will be GET READY for the next grade level.

VIRTUAL SUMMER SCHOOL
Summer at-home learning opportunity for all incoming K-5 students to get ready for the next grade level!
Self-paced, family-directed - no sign-up required!
Weekly activities will be shared each Monday from 7/6-8/10 (6 weeks)
Families can choose digital activities on district website and/or pick up packets at lunch distribution sites.
Common focus each week across the grades to allow families to learn together
Goal 1
Weekly packets provide practice for upcoming grade level skills
Available to download or pick up at summer lunch locations
Goal 2
Weekly teaching videos in ELA and Math
Activities and games to build understanding of upcoming concepts
Goal 3
- Choose from a variety of engaging activities to take learning deeper.
SUMMER MEALS
SUMMER MEALS
Our meal program will run through the summer! We will be offering meals Monday – Thursday during the week. Thursdays pick up will include frozen meals for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Pick up times is from 11:15 – 12:00 (new time!) Meal pick up locations in the summer months are:
- White Bluffs Elementary
- Chief Jo Middle School
- Enterprise Middle School
- Marcus Whitman Elementary
TEACHER WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL LETTERS
While the office and teachers prepare for fall, teachers will be welcoming students to their classes! Families will receive an e-mail in mid-August from your children’s new teachers introducing themselves, and giving information needed for the start of school. If you need to update your email, please do so by calling the office at 509 967-6350.
CHROMEBOOK PLAN
5th grade students will keep their chromebooks and return them at the middle school they will be attending in 2020-21.
If you have questions regarding chromebooks, returning chromebooks, or returning chromebooks, contact the technology department directly.

On the Home Learning website tab, a Technical Assistance button is available for students and families with the above information as well.
We understand that some families do not currently have Internet access in their homes, making it difficult for their children to stay connected to their teachers. Charter Communications will offer free spectrum broadband and Wi-Fi Internet access for 60 days to households K-12 and/or college students who do not already have a Spectrum broadband subscription and at any service level up to 100 Mbps. Families may enroll by calling 1 844-488-8395. Installation fees will be waived for new student households.
