Little Cardinals Pledge the Code
This is our tree of Little Cardinal's. Our hallway display was put up the first week of 2nd semester. It signified the kick-off of our Cardinal Code Celebration.

At the start of second semester, our preschoolers at both the Cardinal's Nest and GSRP started reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and Cardinal Code Pledge daily. Pictured are Mrs. Bell, Mrs. Blazen and room 2 students saying the pledge over the PA.

March is Reading Month
Thank you to Stephanie Thomas and the other March is Reading Month committee members from Central. They asked us to join them during reading month for activities to celebrate reading month and enhance our student's love of reading! We will be using the theme "The S'more you read, the S'more You Know!" I have sent a March is Reading Month teacher tip sheet to our staff via email and Google Docs. This explains everything we will be doing to celebrate reading month. On Monday, we will be sending home the parent letter explaining our reading goal and activities throughout the month. The book title tracking sheets will be ready to go out to parents on Monday or Tuesday. We will need volunteers to cut circles for our camping caterpillar. We will touch base on Monday to discuss other reading month details. Even though our planning meeting was cancelled due to the snow day, we should be ready to start celebrating Tuesday, March 1st.
