Parents and students,

I am wishing each of you a Thanksgiving Break full of love, laughter and gratitude. I am so grateful for this journey we are on together. Each child and family has enriched my life and made CHS a home and not just a school. Thanks for every kind word, every smile, every beautiful note and for all that you do to make CHS a fantastic school. I am eternally grateful to have walked this journey with each of you.

Yearbook will send passes for underclassmen to be released. Seniors will show appointment confirmation to be released from class to come to the library to take their picture). Senior sitting should last 15-20 mins depending on the line.

WE HAVE OVER 250 SENIORS WHO HAVE NOT TAKEN THEIR YEARBOOK PHOTOGRAPH THIS YEAR! ONLY 17 SENIORS HAVE SIGNED UP FOR THESE DATES

LAST OPPORTUNITY TO BE PHOTOGRAPHED TO BE IN THE YEARBOOK: NOVEMBER 30, DECEMBER 4 AND DECEMBER 5TH.

1. Schedule an appointment on the CADY website to have your picture taken This is the only way to have your picture taken.

2. Pick Coppell High School as your location. Or, you can schedule an appointment at their Grapevine or Plano locations.

3. When you make the appointment, scroll down to the bottom, SELECT THE FREE YEARBOOK SESSION ONLY. You may choose a paid session if you want more options.

NOTE: THERE WILL BE NO WALK IN SENIOR PHOTOS THIS YEAR. YOU MUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. Last day to have your photo taken is December 5.

Seniors who have already taken their portraits, must select one of the formal poses in the tuxedo or drape with no accessories as your yearbook pose selection to be in Yearbook. Pictures in cap and gown or with family may not be selected.

Class of 2024. IT'S TIME TO ORDER YOUR GRADUATION ITEMS.

Please order your Cap & Gown from Jostens at Jostens.com. ALL SENIORS who want to walk at Graduation must purchase the tassel and CHS white stole from Jostens.
- If you have a gown and cap from a sibling or someone who graduated in previous years, you can borrow those things BUT please make sure they fit (not too short and not too long). The stole and tassel must be from this class year.
The MASCOT Pack is one of the options available to you and it has many items including 25 Official School Announcements, 25 photo cards, and the Cap and Gown Unit.

Varsity Football are Area Champions! It was a hard fought win with a huge touchdown run by O'Marion Mbakwe extending our lead in the fourth quarter! Coppell advances to the next round. The Coppell fans definitely showed up to cheer on the Cowboys making this an extra special win to celebrate! Let's Go Cowboys! We're with you every step of the way! Congratulations to the players, coaches, our school family and the players and coaches families and community that supports this team!

Thankful and grateful to our amazing PTO for making the start of this holiday season so delicious. We appreciate all that you do for us, including putting together a delicious baked potato lunch and serving this campus in so many different ways! Thank you! We would also like to give a huge shout out to Market Street that donated 500 potatoes and 55 pounds of Mac and Cheese to make this Thanksgiving meal an extra great one for the CHS staff.

We have a record number (26) swimmers and divers attending the North Zone TISCA Championships at the Westside Aquatic Center in Lewisville. Last year we had only 8 qualify! This a huge accomplishment individually and as a team. The meet times required make it extremely difficult to qualify. Congratulations to these 26 athletes and good luck at the swim meet!

Varsity Wrestling Season starts Friday, November 17th with the Round-Up tournament. They are wrestling for a good cause! Please support the Wrestling team's canned food drive. This drive will support the food banks around the area!
