- An outside consultant visited two of our co-planning sessions this week and commented repeatedly on how engaged and focused on student learning both teams were.
- I (Michele) ran into a Dunning family over the weekend and they talked a lot about how wonderful the sense of community at Dunning is. They love that their children (K and 1st grade) get to interact with older students (buddies, at Kidsborough, etc.) and that the older students are always so nice to their children!
- We have postitive affimation mirrors around the school - thank you Shannon! Thank you Marion for the picture!
- It was amazing to watch Tech Buddies happening across the school last week. Students were so invested and clearly excited about the learning going on!

the reluctant dragon
On Friday, 11/15, our students will be viewing the Shakesperience Productions performance of the Reluctant Dragon. The performance is approximately one hour in length.
K, 1 & 2: 10:00am
3 , 4 & 5: 1:30pm
"A shepherd girl races against time and popular opinion to protect and defend her dragon friend from other villagers, St. George the knight, and certain destruction. Inspired by the art of René Magritte, a giant set of Cuisenaire® rods and colorful costumes serve this production as it highlights themes of stereotype and prejudice, encapsulated in environmental sustainability."
