State Fair Animal & Contest Entry
The 2022 Nebraska State Fair 4-H and FFA entry site is open and accepting entries! State Fair animal & contest entries must be made online in ShoWorks (statefair.org/competitions-participate/competitions/4-h-ffa-exhibitors) before 8 PM CST on August 10th. This entry process must be completed by the 4-H exhibitor (or their family). Fees must be paid using a debit/credit card. There are no other options for payment. State Fair rules & regulations can be found here: 4h.unl.edu/state-fair. Please review these thoroughly before arriving at State Fair.

State Fair Tickets
The Nebraska State Fair has advance ticket options available to the general public.

All advance ticket options are available now until 11:59PM on August 25th CT.
Note – All livestock exhibitors and in-person event exhibitors (contests, fashion show, presentations, and robotics showcase) will still be able to order discounted tickets when they enter in ShoWorks for State Fair. This process has not changed for those exhibitors coming to the fair.
Static Exhibits that Qualified for State Fair
- Drop off your State Fair exhibits on the west end (SW door) of the 4-H/FFA Building, Tuesday August 23, 4-6 pm OR Wednesday August 24, 7:30-9:00 am. Exhibits will not be accepted after 9:00 am, Wednesday. *Make sure to have the appropriate forms (photo tags, recipes, home environment sheet, etc.) attached, as well as a label with the exhibitor’s name, 4-H age & county.
- Horticulture & Floriculture exhibitors - Please call Crystal at the Extension office (or email) by Tuesday August 23 at Noon with the varieties & cultivars of vegetables/flowers that you will be bringing. Each exhibitor may bring up to TWO different types of vegetables (or flowers if those were picked for State Fair). If you have any questions, please call the office.
- Pick up your exhibit(s) from the 4-H/FFA Building, Tuesday September 6, 11:30 am – 1:30 pm. (Hall County staff will be in the main exhibit area, at the far west end of the building.) If you are unable to do this, please make arrangements with another 4-H family to help you.
