How have we learned about the Moon?

We have learned about the Moon, thanks to the Apollo landings. There were 6 landings that occurred during the years 1962-1972.  We have gained many rock samples from the Moon.  We also have learned that the Moon does not have a magnetic field.  The Moon has five different landforms. The Moon also goes through eight different phases. The Sun reflects light off the Moon, which allows us to see the Moon as we do.
