The Circulatory System
The function of the circulatory system is to deliver nutrients and oxygen to the body and take away cell waste. There are many important parts in the Circulatory System. These parts are the heart, blood, veins, arteries, and capillaries. Did you know that the circulatory system works with other systems? Well... it does! The Circulatory System works with the Digestive System because it breaks down food and nutrients so the blood can circulate it. It also works with the Respiratory System because the lungs breathe in oxygen so the blood can circulate it. You just learned about the Circulatory System!
