The Meaning

TCP - Transmission Control Protocol - It is one of the core protocols of the Internet protocol suite and is so common that the entire suite is called TCP/IP.


What does it do?

In a nut shell, it allows all networks to connect to each other by sending data over to the other paired IP.

How does it work?

TCP breaks down the data into packets of a fixed size so it is eligible to send over the data through the paired IP's so that to person on the other end care receive the data.


Why do we need it?

We have it because it is an easier way to communicate and use the internet quicker. it can be used for many things and useful to a lot of people who need the internet.
