Edgewood Scholarship Opportunities
Edgewood Athletic Boosters Scholarship
- Must be a member of a sport or academic team at EHS
- Exhibited good sportsmanship, character, and integrity
- Essay
- Letters of Recommendation
- 2.5 or high GPA
- Family member with a current paid booster membership
- Return application to Mr. Brown by April 26th, 2019
- Application available in the counseling department
Edgewood Teachers Association Scholarship
- ETA sponsors scholarships that are awarded annually to graduating students of Edgewood High School
- Scholarship awarded on the following criteria: Academics, Letters of Recommendation, Extracurricular, Leadership, Interview
- Deadline is April 12th, 2019
- Application is available in the counseling department
- Return completed application to Mrs. Panno
Edgewood Ministerial Association "Most Christ-Like" Scholarship
- Applicants must have a close relationship with God and be active in a church within the Edgewood school district
- Must demonstrate Biblical moral values, faithfulness, honesty, sincerity, kindness, and self-control.
- Application available in the counseling department
- Deadline is May 7th, 2019
Jacksonburg United Methodist Women's Scholarship
- Open to all faiths
- Any graduating senior from Edgewood
- 500$ Scholarship
- Demonstrate leadership, community service, extra curricular involvement
- Essay
- 2 letter of recommendation
- Application available in counseling department
- Return completed application to Mrs. Panno in a two pocket folder by April, 12th, 2019
7 Mile Alumni Association Scholarship
- Open to all faiths
- Any graduating senior from Edgewood
- 500$ Scholarship
- Demonstrate leadership, community service, extra curricular involvement

- 2 letter of recommendation
- Application available in counseling department
- Return completed application to Mrs. Panno in a red pocket folder by April 12th, 2019
William Lawrence King Sr and Esther Mary Smith King Memorial Scholarship:
- Letters of Recommendation
- One time payment of $1,000
- Essay
- 2.75 GPA
- Attendance
- Application available in the counseling office
- Deadline is April 26th
- Return completed application to Mrs. Panno
Trenton Lions Club Memorial Scholarship
- Awarded to the senior student in the Edgewood School District who is determined to be the most "well-rounded"
- One time payment of $1,500
- Transcript, Essay, Interview
- Sign up for an interview upon turning in application to Mrs. Panno
- Application available in the counseling department
- Deadline April 8th. Interviews will be April 15th and 16th at EHS

Virginia Budge Award for Creative & Performing Arts:
- For Butler County Creative and Performing Arts students.

Caring.com:
- The student-caregiver scholarship provides financial assistance to students who are caring for an adult relative while enrolled in college.
- Applicants must be full-time college students at an accredited two or four year college

William D. Squires Education Foundation Inc:
- Applicants must be seniors, residing in Ohio, graduating from an Ohio high school in 2019.
- Applicants must demonstrate financial need. The EFC on your FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR) must be less than $7,000 to apply. In addition, your college Financial Aid Award letter must show a minimum $4,000 need.
- Applicants must have a specific career goal and be highly motivated to reach their career goal.
- Although this is not an academically based scholarship, applicants must demonstrate academic promise and good character. A minimum 3.20 cumulative GPA is required.
- Deadline April 5th, 2019

Butler County Fire Chiefs’ Association Community Scholarship
- The Butler County Fire Chief’s Association has announced their scholarship for those High School Students that are interested in/on an educational path beneficial to a career in Fire/EMS Service:
- Students must be a resident in Butler County OR have a parent who works in Public Safety within Butler County
- The Scholarship is open to Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors in High School

EHS Graduation
- Graduation practice is mandatory and will be Friday May 24th 11:00am-1:00pm
- Please arrive by 9:30am to the graduation ceremony
