Congratulations ! You have made it to the final quarter of your senior year. Graduation is little over a month away. Please review these scholarship opportunities as many deadlines are fast approaching. Please pay close attention to the Edgewood Scholarship opportunities as many are only offered to Edgewood students. If you have any questions please see your counselor.

Edgewood Scholarship Opportunities

Edgewood Athletic Boosters Scholarship

  • Must be a member of a sport or academic team at EHS
  • Exhibited good sportsmanship, character, and integrity
  • Essay
  • Letters of Recommendation
  • 2.5 or high GPA
  • Family member with a current paid booster membership
  • Return application to Mr. Brown by April 26th, 2019
  • Application available in the counseling department


Edgewood Teachers Association Scholarship

  • ETA sponsors scholarships that are awarded annually to graduating students of Edgewood High School
  • Scholarship awarded on the following criteria: Academics, Letters of Recommendation, Extracurricular, Leadership, Interview
  • Deadline is April 12th, 2019
  • Application is available in the counseling department
  • Return completed application to Mrs. Panno


Edgewood Ministerial Association "Most Christ-Like" Scholarship

  • Applicants must have a close relationship with God and be active in a church within the Edgewood school district
  • Must demonstrate Biblical moral values, faithfulness, honesty, sincerity, kindness, and self-control.
  • Application available in the counseling department
  • Deadline is May 7th, 2019


Jacksonburg United Methodist Women's Scholarship

  • Open to all faiths
  • Any graduating senior from Edgewood
  • 500$ Scholarship
  • Demonstrate leadership, community service, extra curricular involvement
  • Essay
  • 2 letter of recommendation
  • Application available in counseling department
  • Return completed application to Mrs. Panno in a two pocket folder by April, 12th, 2019


7 Mile Alumni Association Scholarship

  • Open to all faiths
  • Any graduating senior from Edgewood
  • 500$ Scholarship
  • Demonstrate leadership, community service, extra curricular involvement
  • Essay
  • 2 letter of recommendation
  • Application available in counseling department
  • Return completed application to Mrs. Panno in a red pocket folder by April 12th, 2019


William Lawrence King Sr and Esther Mary Smith King Memorial Scholarship:

  • Letters of Recommendation
  • One time payment of $1,000
  • Essay
  • 2.75 GPA
  • Attendance
  • Application available in the counseling office
  • Deadline is April 26th
  • Return completed application to Mrs. Panno


Trenton Lions Club Memorial Scholarship

  • Awarded to the senior student in the Edgewood School District who is determined to be the most "well-rounded"
  • One time payment of $1,500
  • Transcript, Essay, Interview
  • Sign up for an interview upon turning in application to Mrs. Panno
  • Application available in the counseling department
  • Deadline April 8th. Interviews will be April 15th and 16th at EHS


Choir Booster Scholarship:

  • Letter of recommendation
  • High school transcript
  • Deadline May 3rd, 2019
  • Application available in the counseling department
  • Return completed application to Mrs. Panno

Home Ave Church Of God Scholarship

Three Valley Conservation Trust

  • Exploring a career in agriculture, conservation, ecology, water management

Virginia Budge Award for Creative & Performing Arts:

  • For Butler County Creative and Performing Arts students.
  • Application available at www.virginiabudgeaward.com
  • Deadline April 16th, 2018


Caring.com:


William D. Squires Education Foundation Inc:

  • Applicants must be seniors, residing in Ohio, graduating from an Ohio high school in 2019.
  • Applicants must demonstrate financial need. The EFC on your FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR) must be less than $7,000 to apply. In addition, your college Financial Aid Award letter must show a minimum $4,000 need.
  • Applicants must have a specific career goal and be highly motivated to reach their career goal.
  • Although this is not an academically based scholarship, applicants must demonstrate academic promise and good character. A minimum 3.20 cumulative GPA is required.
  • Deadline April 5th, 2019
  • Application available in the counseling department


Butler County Fire Chiefs’ Association Community Scholarship

  • The Butler County Fire Chief’s Association has announced their scholarship for those High School Students that are interested in/on an educational path beneficial to a career in Fire/EMS Service:
  • Students must be a resident in Butler County OR have a parent who works in Public Safety within Butler County
  • The Scholarship is open to Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors in High School

Anthony Munoz Foundation:

  • 3.0 GPA
  • Intent to overcome adversity, have financial need, excel academically, and demonstrated leadership
