Kindergarten/First Grade Registration for 2023-2024
The first registration window for students who plan to attend kindergarten or first grade in Greenville County Schools next year (2023-24) will be held December 5-9, 2022.
Children who will be five years old on or before September 1, 2023 must enroll in public or private kindergarten unless the parent or legal guardian signs a waiver. Any child who will be six years old on or before September 1, 2023 must enroll in first grade. (IMPORTANT: Students who are currently enrolled in a GCS 4K or 5K program do not need to register.)

A parent must send a parent or doctor’s note for ANY absence or it will remain unexcused.
After 10 absences, any absence requires a doctor's note.
Students must be present for at least 3 hours to be marked present for the school day. Students should be picked up from school no later than 2:45 pm.
