MSMCS families,
We are off to a great start!
Students are finished with orientation and should be ready for Mondays classes. Orientation week was filled with sessions that will prepare our students for success this coming semester and in the future. Orientation was a positive experience for students, MSMCS & MSC staff. The eagerness and willingness to embrace instruction by our students is a testament to their families and past teachers.
Deadlines
September 9th is the drop deadline. Students that wish to drop a course will need to see Ms. Piatt for the paperwork no later than 3:00 pm Thursday September 9th. Students will need to maintain full time status and Ms. Piatt will guide you through the process.
Monday September 5th is Labor Day, No College or High School Classes
November 4th withdraw deadline.
Schedules
Students please check your high school and college schedule Sunday evening to ensure your classes have not changed. Check your MSMCS schedule on StudentVue and your college schedule through UAOnline under the registration header.
MSBSD Information
Bus Cancellations: There will be rolling bus cancellations this week. Please note how this effects your school access if you use the bus system. Check your email or the transportation website https://www.matsuk12.us/buscancellations for a listing of the closures.
MSC Information
Students please remember to carry a valid picture ID or Wolf-card while you are on campus and remember UA requires that a mask be worn per UA policy.
Students need to be checking their UA email (FMLastName@alaska.edu) and their MSBSD email FL12345@apps.matsuk12.us for class announcements and course work. UA will only use UA email and MSBSD google classrooms only use MSBSD email. Make sure you can login to both!
Families, If you receive a message regarding payment to UAA please do not worry, This is an automated message that all students receive from the university. We will have our student’s tuition and fees paid as per our agreement with UA.
The Café is designated as a place to eat on campus. Please make sure that you eat and depart so that other students have a place to eat
We will be putting information on Facebook regarding books, tutorials, course updates, scholarship opportunities and other school announcements. If you have not visited the page please be sure to visit and like the Mat Su Middle College School page.
