During the week of April 24th-28th, students did some preparation for the MSTEP. They also solved addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division equations. Finally, students learned how to graph inequalities. They have some homework due on Monday: Page 443(2-11), page 455(2-11), page 456(1-6), and page 481(2-9).
During the week of May 1st-5th, students will be taking the M-Step test on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Therefore, they won’t be having math homework on these nights. Students will still have shortened class periods. They will still see all of their teachers during each day. On Monday-Thursday students will focus on Volume, and Area of various figures. On Friday, students will be at the Dune Grass field trip and will use math skills to help count the bundles of dune grass.
