There are many interesting facts about sharks. These creatures can be found in many oceans and near some beaches. Sharks are some of the most significant animals on Earth.
I've always wondered what humans can do to repel sharks. What repels sharks is... sharks! They're naturally repelled by the smell of other dead sharks. Sometimes, divers use a mixture of shark liver and other organs to insure their safety.
Great White Shark Predators
Although Great White Sharks are fairly high on the food chain, Orca whales and other sharks could pose a risk! I think it's weird to think that an animal with so much power has other predators too!
Top 10 Sharks
There are so many different species of sharks, I could never count them all! I have at least heard of the top 10. Here's a list of them: The Great White, Tiger, Bull, Requiem, Sand tiger, Black Tip, and the Blue Shark. It's really interesting to know that there are species of sharks other than the generic ones you hear on a day-to-day basis.
The feeding habits of a Great White Shark changes as they age. Being young, they feed on smaller prey such as fish and rays. As they start to grow older, they feed on larger prey such as sea lions, seals and small whales.

The benefit of learning this knowledge is that you know extra information for the future. So next time you go to the beach, you know what to watch out for!
