Report Cards

The first quarter has just ended. Report cards will be printed and mailed soon. When you look at your student's grades, please engage them in a conversation about where they feel they are academically. Remember to celebrate those areas where your child is succeeding. If they are taking an advanced course, celebrate their work and efforts. Are there areas they could use support? Are there questions you or they have about a particular course? If so, please contact the teacher or your child's counselor.

Parents of seniors. We understand senior year can be a year of ups and downs. Since many senior year courses are half year courses I ask that you pay special attention to your senior's grades. At times, a senior might not put their all into their academics. If you see some slipping, lets work together to catch it now.

CA Athletes Compete at States

Freshmen cross country runners Clancy Rheude and Katie Cobos followed up their first and second finish last weekend in sectionals with a 14th and 33rd (out of 119) place finish respectively in the State Meet yesterday at Monroe Woodbury.

CA Swimmers, Kendall Ware, Celina Lillyquist, Katie Ringhoff and Hannah Bernard went to the state swim meet in the Medley Relay. Katie Ringhoff also swam in the 50 Free and 100 Fly, Kendall Ware in the 100 Back and Serica Hallstead competed in the diving competition.

Senior Trip

Students in the senior class spent the weekend in Boston. And despite popular opinion, I have no issue with posting a photo or two of them at Boston's famed Fenway Park. Ironically, many people sent me photos of Fenway Park ... Hey, its for the seniors!
