Fall Sports Update
Results from last week:
Fall sports are in full action next week! Please be sure to check the attachment below for next week's schedule.Results from last week:
The 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams both lost to Southport and Greenfield Central by scores of 2-0.
The boys and girls cross country teams both placed 2nd in the Warren Township District meet on Wednesday.
The football teams both picked up victories against Southport Middle School. The 7th grade won at home 20-0 and the 8th grade team won on the road 44-0.
The boys tennis team lost to New Augusta by a score of 3-2 and also lost to Northview by a score of 4-1.
Thursday, September 13, will be our "Pink-out" day. This is the day that our teams wear pink apparel in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. This will also be the day of our staff vs. student volleyball game. Students will have the option of buying a PINK OUT shirt and also pay to stay after school for the events that evening. Shirts will be $7 and wristbands to stay after school will be $3 and will be sold during lunch that week.

How important is attendance for student success?
We do understand that there are situations that arise where an absence can't be prevented. Please help communicate those reasons to the school by calling the main line at 532-6800 between 6:00-7:00 a.m. to report the absence.
Excused Absences Include:
1. Personal illness or injury (please drop off physician's notes to front desk)
2. Death in the immediate family
3. Attendance at a family funeral
4. Religious observances required by church officials
5. Serving as a page in the legislature
6. Court appearance/court detention
7. Working at polls
