South Asia!
Asia!
Asia is the largest continent and southern Asia is home to India as well as the Hindu Kush and Himalayan Mountains. Mount Everest, the tallest mountain on the planet, is a part of the Himalayas. To the south the climate is tropical and has deserts and forests. Sri Lanka and the Maldives are island nations off the coast of south Asia. Asia is home to Buddhism and Hinduism and increasingly to Islam as well. These areas were British colonies during the colonial era and British influence still plays a role in the area now.
