DRAGON BASKETBALL COMMUNITY NIGHT-NOVEMBER 27TH
Our Basketball programs will be hosting our Community Night on Monday, November 27th from 5:45pm - 8:00pm at the Carroll Senior High School Gymnasium to celebrate the start of the season, to introduce our teams to the Southlake Community and to invite our fans to come and cheer our teams!
Our kick-off celebration will include:
- Introductions of coaches and players of the Lady Dragon and Varsity teams
- Cheer routines from our Varsity Cheer Team
- Performances from our Carroll Dragon Drumline
- A Celebrity Three Point Shooting Contest
- Dunk Exhibitions from the Dallas Mavericks "Mavs Man"
- Appearances from our Dragon mascot "Charlie" and the Dallas Mavericks mascot "Champ"
- Varsity Player Meet and Greet
- Open Court Shoot Around for kids to hone their basketball skills
- Free pizza, cookies, and drinks for kids!

BIRTHDAY BOOKS
You can honor your child’s birthday by sponsoring a new book for our library.
For a donation of $20.00 (covers the cost of the book and all processing costs) your child will receive the following when his/her birthday arrives:
Your child will get to select a book from our special selection of new books.
A book plate with a picture will be placed in the book.
Your child is the first to check out the book and when the book is returned it will be placed into our library collection for all to enjoy.

LET'S GO SHOPPING! Pop into St. Bernards on TONIGHT from 6-8PM for cocktails, snacks and shopping for a fun filled Spirit Night to benefit OUES! Attendees will get a chance to win a $250 gift certificate to St. Bernards and a portion of all sales during the event will go back to OUES!
DO YOU HAVE YOUR CONCERT TICKET YET? Grab your friends and family for a fun night out at Dragons Rock the Night on November 16th from 5-8:30. Enjoy live music by AC Pro, food and beer/wine trucks, turf field with inflatables, s'mores pits and so much more! $50 ticket gets your whole family in for a fun night out before break. The school who has the most ticket sales wins a special treat for their teachers and staff! *Ticket sales benefit CEF which funds every teacher in CISD!*

HOLIDAY POP-UP! It's the GREEN MONDAY BEFORE BLACK FRIDAY sale! Grab some friends and shop OUES, RES, CES, JES, WGES, DIS and EIS spirit shops and over a dozen local small businesses for the holidays! Monday, November 13th from 6-9PM at MADabolic, Southlake. Come and enjoy a fun night out with friends, sample foods from local vendors and check off your holiday shopping list!
MAHJONG for CEF and OUES! OUES PTO is partnering with the Green Mahjong Dragons and Calakids! On December 4th, The Green Mahjong Dragons will host a mahjong tournament fundraiser to benefit CEF. Tickets are limited and every dollar raised through ticket sales will go directly to CEF to fund our teachers. 20% of all merchandise purchased at Calakids during the event and throughout December 7th (if you mention OUES) will go directly back to our campus!

THE GIFTING PROJECT: Gear up to bring the best of the holiday spirit to Old Union in partnership with The Gifting Project and Southlake Fire Department! Sign up here to shop for angel gifts and give your kids the chance to deliver them on collection day straight into the hands of our Southlake Fire Department heroes.
