This week...

DRA/EDL assessments should be entered up on Eduphoria. Dead line to enter data up is this Friday, OCTOBER 2.

Remember the criteria, if comprehension is lower than 19 (levels 4-38) and 17 (levels 40-80) you should move a level down.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Alana Morris visits EWE!

If you are a Language Arts teacher who are passionately crazy about teaching Reading and Writing, definitely this session is for you!

I invite you to come to Edgewood this Saturday, Oct. 3 from 8:30-12:30 to enjoy a great morning with Alana Morris learning about the Pyramid Analysis.

Don't want to miss it!

All aboard with Math!

Kristen Allen, a prestigious Math consultant for Lead4Ward, will come this Wednesday September 30th to work with our intermediate Math teachers.

7:45 - 10:45 - 3rd Grade will work on planning for the end of the 1st 9 weeks & the 2nd 9 weeks, which is all about operations. She will share various strategies for adding, subtracting, multiplication, and division. Be ready for a great day!

11:15 - 2:15 - 4th & 5th Grade will mainly focus on decimals and fractions.

In addition, Ms. Allen will spend the remaining time available generating some higher level questions as well as looking at some data.

I can't wait!

Check Points Next Week

EWE is getting ready to assess our kids!

3rd, 4th & 5th will have check points next weeks. Talk to your students about it. Let them know how important is to try hard to not only do it, but to do it RIGHT (as Ms. Pratts always says).

Tuesday, Oct. 6: Math check point for 4th & 5th

Wednesday, Oct. 7: Reading check point for 3-5

Thursday, Oct. 8: Science for 5th
