SOTA EXECUTIVE BOARD ELECTION
Secretary
1. Keep accurate minutes of all meetings.
2. Keep an updated roster of membership.
3. Arrange date, time, and location of monthly meetings.
4. Maintain the minutes in a folder and provide a copy of all minutes to the Faculty Advisor in order to keep a history of the organization.
5. Provide a written report and/or guidelines for the incoming officer when leaving office and a copy for the Faculty Advisor.
Treasurer
1. Collect all SOTA dues.
2. Keep the accounts of the organization including the receipt and disbursement of all funds.
3. Deposit all SOTA monies in an approved financial institution.
4. Provide a written report and/or guidelines for the incoming officer when leaving office and a copy for the Faculty Advisor.
Community Service and Fundraiser Chairperson
1. Will organize and promote SOTA involvement in campus and community volunteer activities.
2. Plan and coordinate fundraising events.

University of Maryland Rehabilitation & Orthopaedic Institute Adapted Sports Program
Volunteering for adapted sports is extremely rewarding on so many levels
University of Maryland Rehabilitation & Orthopaedic Institute is home to an Adapted Sports Program that currently offers our current and past patients as well as individuals from the community the opportunity to participate in programs for an Adapted Golf, Wheelchair Basketball, and a Quad Rugby Team (Maryland Mayhem).
I would like to share with you an opportunity for you to volunteer in programs that you may have experience, expertise, or just interest! I am providing the details below and contact information for each sport. You may also contact me if you have general questions.
Adapted Golf Program
Session I: April- 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th Session II: May- 12th, 19th & June- 2nd, 9th
Time: 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Place: Accessible Golf Green @ UM Rehabilitation & Orthopaedic Institute
Volunteers are needed 5:15 pm to 7:30 pm Tuesday evenings starting June 17th.

Help with setup, teaching skills, drills, take down! We have an awesome time out on the court!
Please let me know if you're interested in participating on a Thursday evening! This clinic cannot happen without the wonderful help of our amazing volunteers. Even if it is just for one evening, we NEED your help!
