Helping Young Children Deal with Big Emotions
The news can be scary for our younger children. Experts recommend that we "turn off the news and talk" instead. It's important to remind children that things will get back to normal. Ask how they are feeling and help them express it. Below is a great link with some resources to help our little people deal with big emotions.
JC Reads Together
Our fabulous Library Media Specialist, Mrs. Murray, has put together a padlet of read-alouds for everyone to enjoy! You'll see Mrs. McGuire, Mrs. Brush, and many other teachers and students reading some of their favorite stories! Check it out!
65 Ways to be a Reader
