To better estimate the demand for lunches on half days, CPS Nutrition has launched online lunch ordering for HALF DAYS ONLY.

For the upcoming half days 11/17 and 11/23 orders must be placed by 11/10/22.

2022-23 CPS Half Day/Early Release dates

• Thursday, 11/17 (elementary & middle schools only)
• Wednesday, 11/23 (early release day)
• Wednesday, 12/7
• Tuesday, 1/10
• Wednesday, 2/8
• Thursday, 3/2
• Thursday, 4/13

If you would like your child to have lunch on future half days, online ordering is open for you to select those dates.

Directions to set up your account and order:

1. URL Link: family.onlineordering.linq.com
2. Sign up now: Email, create password.
3. School District: Chelmsford Public Schools
4. Student ID: This can be found on x2- Child’s student ID number
5. Last Name: (You can also search and add siblings/family members at this time). Once this is completed, student’s name should appear on page.

How to order meals

1. School Menu-select online lunch ordering (all schools)
2. Scroll to week of half day/early release date (top right of page)
3. Find date, select meal option
4. Add item to cart/Select Add to order
5. Click on shopping cart icon at top right of page
6. Click Check out
7. Select pick up location: Elementary pick-up location classroom. Middle/high school pick up location cafeteria.
8. Place order

You’ll be helping us earn cash and supplies while keeping our Earth clean and green!

1. Toner Cartridge Fundraiser: Hello McCarthy Families. The PTO is excited to introduce a new program this year to raise money for our school. The Funding Factory collects used toner and ink cartridges and recycles them, while giving money back to the school. A drop box has been placed across the hall from the main office at McCarthy Middle School. Please encourage family members and employers to save their cartridges and send them in with your student. Any size ink or toner cartridges are accepted along with most brands including: Brother, Cannon, HP.

Chromebook Repair Protocol: If your student enters a ticket through the IIQ Helpdesk while at home, they will need to drop off the Chromebook in the library when they come to school the next day. The Tech Department will collect the broken device and perform the repairs. Students may be able to get a loaner device while waiting for their device to be repaired.

When the repairs are done, the student will be alerted via their ticket/email to pick up their device in the library.

If any issues come up regarding the bus coming late, or not picking up your child etc.

Buses/ Transportation: I encourage families to register your students for the buses. There is plenty of room on our buses. Please use this link to register your students for the bus: https://www.chelmsford.k12.ma.us/domain/90

Please contact your child’s counselor if you have any concerns whether it is attendance related or not. Specific class/assignment related questions or concerns should be directed to the particular teacher involved. Our counselor assignments are as follows:
