From the Principal's Desk
Greetings Wellwood Families,
I hope that you had a wonderful and relaxing break! In a few weeks, it will be the end of the third marking period. Please take a few minutes to log into Schoology to access your child's grades. Please be sure to reach out to your child's teacher(s) if you have any questions.
We were so happy to welcome back some of our students in grades 3-5 this week! If you are interested in having your child come back in the building for two days a week, please click on this link and complete the form. Please keep the timelines in mind when you look at the table below.
Stay well and take care!

BCPS Calming Rooms
During overwhelming times in our life, it's important to find ways to relax and cope. The BCPS virtual calming room is a space that has been designed for students, families, and staff to identify and implement tools and strategies for navigating emotions and feelings.
The BCPS virtual calming room is broken down into seven categories: Animals, Books and Games, Creative, Mindfulness and Movement, Resources, Sensory, and Virtual Tours.
The BCPS virtual calming room is a result of collaborative efforts by the Mind Over Matters Campaign workgroup, Mental Health Services, Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), and the Office of Psychological Services.
